TAIPEI, Taiwan, December 8, 2011 ?? Aurora Corp. (Ticker: 2373 TT / 2373 TW) today announced consolidated net sales for November 2011 of NT$1.19 billion, representing increases of 12% month-over-month and 3% over the year-ago period, respectively. For the first eleven months of the year, Aurora reported consolidated net sales of NT$11.8 billion, a 3% increase from the year-ago period.
November parent-only net sales was NT$254 million, up 5% over October and down 2% year-over-year. For the first eleven months of the year, parent-only net sales totaled NT$2.62 billion, a 7% increase from the year-ago period.
November net sales in China rose 11% to 127 million RMB year-on-year and recorded an 11% lower-base growth over October. As percentage of total monthly sales, China accounted for 50%. China OA and furniture segment sales grew 1% and 28% while the office equipment segment sales decelerated by 6% compared to a year ago. For the first eleven months of the year, net sales in China totaled 1.26 billion RMB, a 15% increase from the year-ago period.
