TAIPEI, Taiwan, June 8, 2012 ?? Aurora Corp. (Ticker: 2373 TT / 2373 TW) today announced consolidated net revenue for May 2012 of NT$1.07 billion, down 8% from April and up 2% from the same month last year. For the first five months of the year, Aurora reported consolidated net revenue of NT$5.56 billion, an 8% increase from the year-ago period.
Parent-only revenue in May increased 3% from April to NT$242 million and was flat from the same month a year ago. For the first five months of the year, parent-only revenue of NT$1.16 billion was flat compared with the same period a year ago.
In China, due to decreased export orders for office equipment, net revenue slipped by 8% to 114 million RMB from April yet still posted a 4% growth from the same month last year. For the first five months of the year, China net revenue totaled 574 million RMB, up 5% from a year ago. By business segment, the OA (office automation), office furniture and equipment revenue registered year-over-year changes of 1%, 20% and -13% for the five-month period, respectively.
