AURORA announces February consolidated revenue decrease 10% on Pro-forma basis.

TAIPEI, Taiwan, March 8, 2013 - Aurora Corp. (Ticker: 2373 TT / 2373 TW) today reported consolidated net sales for February 2013 of NT$717 million, a decrease of 17% from January and 35% from last February, separately. The result had no contribution from Aurora Telecom, which Aurora owned but sold a majority stake to Tsann Kuen, one of Taiwan's largest IT and consumer electronics retail chain, in October 2012. For the first two months of the year, cumulative revenue declined 25 percent to NT$1.58 billion from the year-ago period.

On a pro-forma basis, excluding the revenue from Aurora Telecom, February net sales decreased 10% year-over-year. For the first two months of the year, pro-forma revenue rose four percent to NT$11.64 billion from the year-ago period.

In February, due to fewer working days as a result of the week-long Lunar New Year Holidays, revenue in China dipped 21% to 97 million RMB from January and declined 12% from last February. For the first two months of the year, cumulative revenue rose 6 percent to 221 million RMB from the year-ago period. China's share of total revenue reached 64% in the month, exceeding Taiwan's by a large margin. By business segment, the office automation, office furniture and equipment revenue recorded year-over-year changes of 20%, 12% and -28% for the two-month period, respectively.
