TAIPEI, Taiwan, June 10, 2013 - Aurora Corp. (Ticker: 2373 TT / 2373 TW) today reported consolidated net sales for May 2013 of NT$900 million, a decrease of 16% from a year ago. For the first five months of the year, cumulative revenue declined 24 % to NT$4.23 billion from the year-ago period.
On a pro-forma basis, excluding the revenue from Aurora Telecom, May net sales grew by 9% year-over-year. For the first five months of the year, pro-forma revenue rose by 3% to NT$4.23 billion from the year-ago period.
May revenue in China increased 9% to 130 million RMB from the year-ago period. For the first five months of the year, cumulative revenue rose by 3% to 591 million RMB from the year-ago period to represent 67% of the total revenue, in which office automation grew by 31% to 45 million RMB from the year-ago period, office furniture grew by 14% to 63 million RMB from the year-ago period. By business segment, the office automation, office furniture and equipment revenue recorded year-over-year changes of 24%, 6% and -31% for the five-month period, respectively.
