Oct. 16, 2013, Taipei - Aurora Corp. (hereinafter referred as "Aurora" or "The Company", 2373 in TWSE) unaudited announced its financial result of Q3, 2013 today. Benefited from steady performance in Office Automation (OA) business in Taiwan and China, continuous simmer effect of "National Brand" of Aurora, strong running momentum in Office Furniture business in China, the EPS of Q3, 2013 reached NT$ 1.03, 2% of growth compared with the same period of last year. Accumulated net income for this first three year was 924 millions with NT$ 3.03 of EPS, 14% of growth compared with the same period of last year.
Revenue
Benefited from the continuous simmer effect of "National Brand" of Aurora, excellent performance in Office Automation (OA) and Office Furniture business in China and steady business running in Taiwan, the consolidated revenue of Q3, 2013 reached NT$ 2.68 billions, 13% declined than the same period of last year, but 0.1% grew than Q2. (Aurora Telecom was deconsolidated from Aurora and treated as an equity investment starting from Nov. 2012.)
If the revenue is counted on the same basis, and the discrepancy caused by Aurora Telecom is eliminated, the consolidated revenue of Q3, 2013 is 18% grew than the same period of last year, and 0.1% grew than Q2.
The revenue of Q3 in China was counted around NT$ 1.79 billions, with annual growth of 26%, and shared 67% of consolidated revenue approximately.
The shares within business revenue in Taiwan and China are: 27% of OA in Taiwan, 6% of Office Furniture in Taiwan, 22% of OA in China, 35% of Office Furniture in China and 10% in Electronic Products respectively. The Office Furniture business in China won the highest share in the revenue of Q3, counted as one-third of overall. It plays the major momentum for continuous growth of the company in the future.
Operating income
The operating income of Q3 was NT$ 233 millions, 23% grew than Q2 and 38% grew than the same period of last year嚗?the operating margin was 8.7%嚗?1.6% grew than Q2 and 3.2% grew than the same period of last year significantly.
Net Income
The net income of Q3, 2013 was NT$ 314 millions, 2% grew of the same period of last year, and EPS was NT$ 1.03,both maintain excellent performance.
