Integrating Expertise to Meet the Highest Design Standards
The client, a globally renowned elevator manufacturer, was strategically moving its operations and is also the specified provider of high-speed elevators for this building. The building is subject to exceptionally strict architectural and fire safety codes—often exceeding standard regulations. Execution demanded profound, relevant experience. The AURORA team meticulously handled all details from the initial floor plan submission, resulting in successful project completion and high client approval.
For this project, AURORA Furniture collaborated with AURORA Interior Design (AID), combining furniture planning consultation with the integration of corporate image and user requirements. This design synergy realized a comprehensive and professional office fit-out, achieving a seamless integration of design and furnishing strategy.

Post-Pandemic Relaunch: Mastering Detail to Craft a Commanding Workplace
In the post-pandemic era, organizational structures and business strategies across industries have undergone significant shifts. Recognizing the necessity of leveraging brand value to maintain strong client relationships, the AURORA team conducted detailed research into the client's global office design aesthetics, quickly adjusted budgets, realigned the renovation direction, and delivered comprehensive, one-stop planning services.
The core concept for this project was a simple, high-quality office design.
The new office lobby breaks from traditional design by omitting a fixed reception desk. It utilizes the client’s designated core palette (black, gray, white) complemented by purple and orange gradients, projecting a minimalist yet commanding style. A dedicated compact reception area was planned to meet practical needs, offering guests and visitors a comfortable waiting space.
Talent is prioritized as a key corporate asset. The project allocated a full floor (400 ping / 1322 sqm) for 80 employees, featuring well-proportioned communal and meeting areas, and granting each employee significantly ample personal workspace. Executive offices were outfitted with the modern, minimalist Inline executive desking paired with the Beam leather seating. Facing the extensive window views, the space is accented with complementary-toned cabinetry. The incorporation of wood elements balances the visual temperature, creating a spacious and comfortable executive environment.
Staff zones utilized the open-plan configuration of the Plane series workstations. Side storage units, which double as functional side tables, satisfy individual storage needs. Further enhancing organization, a personal storage system was designed for every employee. Sufficient dedicated filing cabinets were integrated based on departmental needs, serving both functional storage and departmental zoning.
Bold Expression of European-American Aesthetics
The compact reception area meets practical needs. While lacking a traditional reception desk, it retains space for brief guest stays, conveying a free and unrestricted approach to spatial use.

An Expansive Work Ethos
The generous allocation of workspace underscores the client's commitment to talent retention. Providing nearly 100 employees with spacious, comfortable environments fosters a sense of freedom and an open-minded work atmosphere.

The new office features eight meeting rooms, each named after one of the solar system's eight major planets. Notably, one meeting space was uniquely designed for client product demonstrations, utilizing VR/AR technology to vividly present the spatial experience of the elevators, integrating the industry's identity. The largest meeting room features operable partitions and movable tables, allowing for flexible space configuration during large regular employee meetings and enhancing overall operational agility.
Situated on the 36th floor with expansive views that capture breathtaking sunsets, a dedicated amenity zone was designed to include curved communal seating, window bar counters with barstools, and height-adjustable discussion tables, offering employees a space for social exchange and mood rejuvenation.

Extending the Brand Ethos: Human-Centric Workplace Planning
Historically, corporate office planning prioritized architectural design before integrating furniture recommendations. However, furniture planning is intrinsically linked to user needs. AURORA Furniture has always championed a human-centric approach, starting from the user's perspective.
With Dazhen Design joining our service scope, we offer a holistic approach that ensures the needs of the people inhabiting the space are considered comprehensively. This synergy delivers appropriate design and planning solutions, truly realizing the concept of human-centric office design.
